Holding a Zoom Meeting Only by Phone

Identify and record you Host Key. Your Host Key is located in your Zoom Profile. Click on the down arrow next to the asterisks to reveal the number and copy it down.

Click on Meetings, Personal Room, then Copy Invitation. In the copy invitation windows is the other information you will need to start a meeting by phone as well as the information you need to send to the invitees: Meeting ID, Passcode and the Zoom phone numbers.

Call one of the Zoom numbers and listen to the prompts, including entering in the meeting ID. In order to start the meeting, you will have to enter the Host Key. All other participants will only have enter the meeting ID and passcode. It also may be easier to turn off the waiting room on the Personal Room before initiating the call.
